• When should you plant a spring-flowering bulb collection?
  Most packs should be planted in the autumn, from September to December, before the first frost. The exact planting period for the varieties included in each pack is listed on its product page.
• Can I plant a collection in a pot?
  Yes, many of our collections – such as the bulb lasagnas – are specifically designed for pots or planters, and some even come complete with a pot. Would you like to be on the safe side and double-check? We’d be delighted to help!
• Are the packs bee-friendly?
  A large proportion of our packs have been deliberately put together with bees and bumblebees in mind, featuring a mix of early and late bloomers that provide food for as long as possible. Look out for the ‘bee-friendly’ label on the pack of your choice.
• Do the bulbs in a pack come back every year?
  That depends on the varieties in the pack. Naturalised mixes are specifically chosen to return and spread year after year, whilst some tulip or hyacinth varieties in a pack may flower less profusely after a few years. The product page for each pack indicates what you can expect.
• How many bulbs are there in a collection?
  That varies from pack to pack, ranging from small gift boxes containing a handful of bulbs to larger mixes for a substantial section of a border. The exact number and composition are always listed on the product page.
