  Yes, herb plants are ideally suited to a pot or planter on a balcony or terrace. Choose a pot with good drainage, use well-aerated potting compost and place them in a sunny spot. Mint does best in its own pot, otherwise it may crowd out other herbs.
• When are the herb plants delivered?
  Natural Bulbs’ herb plants are delivered from March to the end of May, as rooted plants in a 12.5 cm pot. Ready to plant straight away in the garden, a vegetable patch or a larger pot.
• Are the herbs also edible if they’ve been organically grown?
  Yes, and that’s exactly why you should choose organic herb plants. Organically grown herbs are free from chemical pesticides, making them safe and tasty to pick fresh and use straight away in the kitchen.
• What’s the best way to prune herb plants?
  Always cut above a pair of leaves or a side shoot, never right down to the woody stem. This encourages the plant to produce new shoots and keeps it compact and productive. With thyme and rosemary, you can also give them a light prune after flowering to keep the plant in shape.
