This Italian Leather Flower blooms from July to September with purple-blue flowers and can grow to a height of several metres in a few years. The flowers are highly prized by bees and bumblebees but are also pleasing to gardeners. This Clematis is very hardy, but does lose its leaves when it gets cold.
