Why choose daffodils?

Return yearly and naturalisation: One of the most remarkable features of daffodils is their ability to return year after year and spread modestly. Planting daffodils

Daffodil bulbs are best planted in autumn, from September to December, before the first frost sets in. It is also important to consider where you plant the daffodils. Permeable soil and a sunny or semi-shaded spot is best. A spot that retains too much water is best avoided as the bulbs tend to rot.
If necessary, add some organic fertiliser to improve soil fertility. Once you are ready plant the bulbs at a depth of 2-3 times the height of the bulb, with the tip pointing up. When doing so, leave enough space between the bulbs for ideal growth.
