Detail
With the Tulipa Mix, you’ll enjoy a wide variety of colours. First in the garden, and then in a vase too! The ultimate enjoyment. The mix has already been put together for you – it couldn’t be easier. If you’re looking to add a playful and vibrant touch to your garden, these organic tulips will make your dreams come true.
Planting and care
Plant the tulip bulbs in the autumn, from October to December, at a depth of around 15 cm and 10–15 cm apart. They grow best in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. They also thrive in pots — plant them close together for a full and lush effect. After flowering, let the foliage die back naturally before removing it.
In the border and in the vase
Tulips from your own garden also make excellent cut flowers. Cut the stems when the bud is just beginning to show colour, early in the morning, and place them in a bucket of cold water. This will ensure they last a long time in the vase. In the border, tulips combine beautifully with early perennials, forget-me-nots or late daffodils.
Organically grown, with care
All the tulips in this mix are organically grown and certified with the NL-BIO-01 quality mark. Grown without artificial fertilisers or chemical pesticides — with care for the soil and the insects that make use of it.
