Detail
On the hottest days of the year, when the garden is glowing and the bees are flying at full speed, these two Alliums offer up their nectar. That’s the idea behind the name: hot caramel — sweet treats for bees, just when they’re working hardest. Allium Cowanii blooms a radiant white, whilst Allium Sphaerocephalon blooms a deep purple. Together, they form a striking duo that brings the garden to life well into the late season.
For the bees and for you
All the varieties in this pack have been chosen for their bee-friendliness — the flowers open when pollinators are active and provide nectar when it’s needed most. But let’s be honest: this pack is just as good for the garden owner. The colours and shapes give your garden a playful touch that you’ll enjoy time and time again.
Plant and let them grow
Plant the bulbs in autumn in a sunny, well-drained spot. The varieties in this pack are naturalised — they return every year and spread slowly. Once planted, you don’t need to do anything else. Let the foliage die back naturally after flowering and enjoy them all over again the following year. Organically grown, certified NL-BIO-01.
